We work the level out from your child's year group, so there is no band to pick and nothing to guess. Every price below is the lowest hourly rate for that level.
KS2
Years 3–6

Prices are per one-hour, one-to-one lesson, and they are set by your child’s level — not by which tutor you are matched with. Every tutor at a given level costs the same.
Lesson packs
Buy as you go, or buy ahead
Packs are the cheaper route if you already know your child needs a run of lessons. Nothing about them locks you in.

Start with a single lesson if you want to keep things light. Packs are there when you know your child needs a run of regular sessions.
The bigger the pack, the lower the hourly rate
Every step up in pack size takes a little off the price of each lesson, saving up to 16% against buying lessons one at a time.
Credits are held per child
A pack becomes lesson credits on one child’s account. They are not shared between siblings, so nobody quietly uses up someone else’s lessons.
Credits never expire
There is no use-by date and no monthly reset. Take a term off, come back, and your credits are exactly where you left them.

First lesson from £10
Your child’s first lesson is a real 30-minute lesson with a matched tutor, priced from £10 depending on year group and bookable instantly. We confirm your tutor within 24 hours, or refund you automatically.
Credits cover their level and below
A credit is bought at your child’s level and pays for a lesson at that level or anything below it, so a GCSE credit covers KS3 work at no extra cost. Moving up is the part that costs: you pay the difference per credit (£4 from KS2 to KS3, £6 from KS3 to GCSE, £6 from GCSE to A-Level), and there is no deadline on doing it. If you would rather not, you can ask us to refund the unused credits instead.
Cancel or move a lesson, keep the credit
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule and the credit goes straight back to your child’s balance. The full rules are in our Terms.
Longer lessons use more credits
One credit buys one hour, so a two-hour lesson simply uses two credits. Nothing else changes.

How much do lessons cost?
Lessons start from £24 an hour. The hourly price is set by the level your child is working at: KS2 from £24, KS3 from £27, GCSE from £32, and A-Level from £37 an hour. We work that out from their year group, so there is nothing for you to choose. You see the exact price in your account before you pay anything.
Do you offer lesson packs?
Yes. You can buy a single lesson or a pack of 3, 6 or 10. Bigger packs bring the price of each lesson down, saving up to 16% against buying one at a time. A pack becomes lesson credits held on one child’s account, and those credits never expire.
Is there a trial lesson?
Yes. Your child’s first lesson is 30 minutes, priced from £10 depending on year group, and bookable instantly from the homepage - no need to wait for a tutor to be matched first. It is a real one-to-one lesson, not a sales call, so you can judge them on the work before deciding whether to book more. We confirm your matched tutor within 24 hours of booking, or refund you automatically if we can’t.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice and the credit returns to your child’s balance to use another time. Inside 24 hours the credit is used, because the tutor has already held the slot and prepared for it. The full rules are in our Terms.
What happens to our credits when my child moves up a level?
Credits are bought at your child’s level and cover lessons at that level or anything below it, so nothing is lost by working below their year group. Moving up is the part that costs something: to use credits at the higher level you pay the difference per credit, which is £4 from KS2 to KS3, £6 from KS3 to GCSE and £6 from GCSE to A-Level. There is no deadline and credits never expire, so you can do it whenever it suits. If you would rather not pay the difference, you can ask us to refund the unused credits instead. Do I have to commit to a set number of lessons?
No. There are no contracts, no monthly subscription and no minimum commitment. You buy lessons when you want them and stop whenever you like.
