A person does the matching
We shortlist tutors on subject strength and level. Level is a hard filter, not a preference - a KS2 tutor is never put forward for a GCSE request.
You approve before anything is booked
We confirm the tutor and the price before you commit. If the first match is not right, tell us and we find another.
What a tutor clears before they teach
Onboarding runs against a written checklist. A tutor cannot be approved to teach until every item on it is cleared.

One price list, set by your child's level
No tier to choose and nothing to negotiate. Your child's year group decides the level, and the level decides the price.

From-prices are the per-lesson rate on a ten-lesson pack. Single lessons and smaller packs are priced separately - you'll see your child's exact price for every pack size once you sign in, before you pay anything.

How much do lessons cost?
Price follows your child's year group, so there is no tier to choose: KS2 from £24 an hour, KS3 from £27, GCSE from £32, and A-Level from £37. You can buy a single lesson or a pack of 3, 6 or 10, which lowers the price per lesson and saves up to 16%. The first lesson is a half-price 30-minute taster. You see the price before you pay and there are no contracts. Credits are held per child and never expire; they cover your child's level and any level below it, and if your child moves up a level you can carry unused credits forward for the difference, or have them refunded instead.
How do you match a tutor to my child?
You tell us the year group, subject, goals and availability, and we do the matching - there is no directory to sort through. We shortlist tutors who teach that subject at that level, then confirm the tutor and the price before you commit. If the first match is not right, tell us and we will find another.
Are lessons online and one-to-one?
Yes. Every lesson is one child with one tutor, and runs in your browser - no travel, and nothing to install. We tutor Years 3 to 13, which is KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level.
How do you keep my child safe?
Every tutor is identity-checked and referenced, and cannot teach until every item on our onboarding checklist is cleared, including right to work and safeguarding training. Most tutors are also DBS-checked (or hold an equivalent background check if based overseas), and you can always ask for a DBS-checked tutor specifically. We have a named Designated Safeguarding Lead. Messaging and shared files stay on the platform so they form a record a safeguarding lead can review. There is more detail on our Trust and safety page.
What do we need to take part?
A laptop or tablet with a webcam and microphone, and a reliable internet connection. A quiet space helps your child focus. You do not need a printer, a graphics tablet, or any paid software.
